The "PC" platform is a professional weighing pan, high-performance, which is the result of lengthy research by the company CAE, in collaboration with professionals from the medical field.

Thanks to the latest manufacturing techniques developed by CAE and the use of modern materials such as the "reinforced thermoset resin" and aluminium which form the structure, the new "PC" weighing platforms combine robustness, hygiene and design. In addition, this material enables effective cleaning in no time at all.

The larger size "PC03" and "PC04" platforms have been specially designed to weigh people who have limited mobility or are bedridden and must be weighed in a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed. They make it possible to weigh the person without moving them and produce a ticket detailing the net weight of the patient, the weight of the bed (chair or stretcher) and its identification, date, hour, identification of the scales used, or to send this information to a computer.
While there are also the "PC01" and "PC02" platforms, more specially suited for weighing in a chair or small stretcher.

The "PC" platform is a professional high quality medical weighing scales, which belong to the "GOLD" range of the CAE brand.

	Easy to move and store
	Because it is lightweight, with ramps collapsible to 180°, handles and castors (2x3) the "PC" weighing platform can be moved with ease. Furthermore, once the ramps are folded away, it takes up a small amount of space and is easy to store.

Genuinely easy and safe access

The very thin access ramps which rest on the floor when a wheel approaches, combined with the low pan, allows surprisingly easy access to the platform.
Even wheelchairs with small diameter wheels can easily access it.
Even the heaviest beds can easily access it.
For patients who want to be weighed standing up, the weighing platform is equipped with a guardrail, which acts as a hand rail, enabling the patient to steady himself when accessing or leaving the scales, but also during the weighing.

	Easy to Clean
	For perfect hygiene, the "PC" weighing platform has been specially designed and manufactured in materials which make it easy to maintain, as much in relation to the visible parts as the hidden parts of the platform.

Electronic indicator

The reliability, accuracy and simplicity of use of the latest electronic equipment serves patients and care personnel.
The display can be reversed so that the patient can read his own weight.
It only takes three seconds to obtain accurate weighing results, the end of the weighing is signalled by a "beep".

The appliances are equipped with the following functions as standard:
      - TARE: enables the net weight of the patient to be discovered when the patient is weighed with a tare
             (patient in a wheelchair, baby with mother, etc.).
      - PT: Pre-Tare or Predetermined Tare, gives the opportunity to save up to 100 tares
      - HOLD: maintains the weight display, during the whole duration of the weighing, from the time
            that the display is stabilised.
      - HOT: restarts the weighing without having to get off the scales.
      - FST: perform a stabilisation (anti-trembling).
      - BMI: calculates the body mass index (BMI).
      - MEM: displays the result of a weighing which is stored in the memory.

The power supply can be chosen from the mains electric network (standard lead) or via an integrated battery (10 or 40 hours of battery life) to carry out up to several thousand weighings before recharging. A high performance control system and limit to the battery charge allow the appliance to be left plugged into the mains without any special precautions. Switching off is controlled manually or is automatic when running on battery.

	Options / Accessories :
	- several capacities and accuracies are available - standard indicator case placed on a folding column () facilitates the use of predetermined tares - evolution indicator case placed on a folding column () which in addition to the standard case enables the addition of technical options either at the time of purchase or subsequently. The battery life goes from 10 to 40 hours - a built in thermal ticket printer, quick, quiet and equipped with an automatic paper cutter - for the production of labels a high performance external thermal printer equipped with an automatic paper cutter - RS 232 connection to the computer (other connection types available on request) - folding guardrail () serves as hand rail* for the patient.

*	It is possible to perform a 180° rotation of the column in order to change the direction of the indicator. For example an indicator facing toward the inside of the platform, can be altered to face the outside. This reversibility is also possible when there is a guardrail.
